The past few months have shown me how much God truly cares for us. I’ve always known that He loves us, and He cares for us, but I’ve had my eyes opened here lately how even the smallest things that matter to us, matters to Him.
Our pastor preached last Wednesday night on this. How God loves us, as much as He loves Jesus.. how humbling is that?
I’m due to have my first baby in 3 weeks – and the love I already have for my baby boy is so surreal. I already know I would do anything in this world for him and he’s not even here yet. To think that God loves us so much more than we can even fathom, that He sent HIS son to die for OUR sins… I’ll never be deserving of that love.
There has been so many little things that I have asked God for lately that He has answered and allowed to happen. The little things truly mean the most. Here’s an example: I had a big baby appointment last week, and because of COVID-19 my husband hasn’t been able to go with me to any of my appointments. I prayed the night before my appointment that he would be allowed to go, and they called me first thing the next morning and said he could come! 😭🙌🏻 I was so happy and I knew it was the Lord answering my prayers! If it matters to us, it matters to him! He wants to give us our hearts desires – we just have to accept His love and His perfect will for our lives.
John 14 – Jesus is talking to us about how much God loves us. John 14: 14 says “If ye shall ask anything in my name, I will do it.”
All we have to do is ask Him!! He’s our Father and we are His children!
I want to encourage you – God loves me and YOU so much. No matter what we’ve done right or wrong, He loves us. He wants to give us the desires of our hearts, all we have to do is ask in His name. He’s already said He will do it! 💖
