HOW TO SMILE IN ADVERSITY⁣⁣

In 2017, my husband and I began really seeking the Lord for America. Our hearts burn at the strife, direction, and changes we have all seen. I want my children to enjoy the freedom that my grandfather gave his life for (who has lived handicapped since World War II).⁣⁣

I know there are so many of you who are facing adversity whether it’s depression/anxiety, hatred, lies, betrayal, been stolen from, etc… So, I want to give you a few ways you can continue serving the Lord and your families during your own adversity-

1️⃣ Realize the Lord will fight your battles! (Deuteronomy 1:31) It was during adversity in the lives of my family that I watched God answer prayers that I had prayed for for years. ⁣

2️⃣ Believe God. Don’t doubt that God CAN do the impossible still. God still can bring revival in America and He will. I know it because I have prayed for it! ⁣

3️⃣ In your wilderness (of depression, hate, or whatever) be faithful to continue praising the One Who is worthy of all our praise. When we praise, it validates our trust. ⁣

*️⃣ Bonus- encourage your leaders in the battle. The greatest job I have to do today is encourage my husband who is the leader of my home. “…𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘦 𝘩𝘪𝘮: 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘩𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘤𝘢𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘐𝘴𝘳𝘢𝘦𝘭 𝘵𝘰 𝘪𝘯𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘵 𝘪𝘵.” (Deuteronomy 1:38)⁣ Encouragement and praise will mold a leader; criticism will destroy a leader.
