Some of my boy’s favorite leisure activities include playing games…especially in the cold weather when its too cold to play outside! I’m including some of their favorites that would make great gifts for your kids, grandkids, nieces or nephews! Some of these games have been around for years, (literally!) but they still provide the same great entertainment! Games are a really great way to spend quality family time together, so games are a definite “win” in my book!
(I am linking all of the games through Amazon, which provides great prices, and fast shipping in time for Christmas! Click on each game to be carried to the direct link.)
One: Watch Ya Mouth
If you have ever played Speak Out, then you will know that this game is very similar, except its geared more toward kids!! This is a really fun game, and absolutely hilarious to watch others play! This game is for ages 8+, and is for 2-10 players.
Two: Bop It
My oldest son has this game, and he loves it! This is a fast-pace game, and requires a lot of concentration! Ha! (Just wait and see!) I have played it several times as well, and it’s so much fun! This game is for ages 8+, and is for 1+ players.
Three: Scrabble Junior
This is a great kids edition of the Scrabble game! This is a letter-matching game for your little ones. It’s for ages 5+, and for 2-4 players. It’s a great game for the parents to play with their kids!
Four: Connect Four
My 8 year old and my 6 year old have outsmarted me several times on this game! Ha! Get four discs in a row and you win! This game is for ages 6+, and for 2 players. It really is a fun game. My boys and I like to have “Championship Games” to see who can win 3 games in a row first!
Zingo is another fun game. Your smaller children can participate on this one! This game is for ages 4+, and is for 2-6 players. This is a fun matching game! I got this game for my boys last Christmas, and they have played it many times throughout this year!
This game is for ages 6+, and is for 2-4 players. I remember playing this game as a little girl and loving it. And now, this is literally one of my boy’s favorite games. They especially love it when they get a “Sorry” card to use on their mom!
Well that’s all for now! Happy Shopping! I hope the children in your life will love these as much as my boys have!!
